Rooms were clean, staff not very helpful, big rooms, quiet. Bit far away from main areas but close to train station. Would not stay again due to the hotel being out of the way Otherwise good price value

Pros: Helpful and friendly front desk
Cons: Room looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
room was no where near the same size as the one shown on the website.
towels were old and discoloured.
shower only had one door attached so water went all over the floor and toilet when taking a shower.
shower was mouldy
very noisy plumbing, we could hear anyone that used the toilet during the night.
wallpaper coming off
bar fridge in room not working.
very inconsistent water temperature night and day got burnt on my back when it decided to just get extremely hot.

Pros: The hotel is clean, the family (owners) were very king. bathrooms and shower are clean. wifi very good, great location next to subway and little bars and restaurants. great for the price

Pros: Staff was really friendly, answered to questions what we had, we had with them nice discussions etc. room was cheap and it was even a bit better than what we expected. it was good for us, and ok to most of the people. metro station was 100 meters away, so it really close. also pere lachaise cemetery was only 5 minutes walk away. thanks, jari-pekka and pia from finland.

Pros: Chansonniers is a good choice if u want to spend few days is paris. its a cheap hotel but because the price its not too comfortable. the rooms are incredible smalls and there isnt a shower in the room . there is one shower and wc on every floor. a little noisy aswell you can hear perfectly others on the corridor. the location of the hotel is good i would reccomend to anyone who wants to spend more time in the city than in the hotel. the staff is great i really love them cause they are very helpful and friendly.

Pros: The room was a decent size and it had enough outlets. it was at least a 1/2 hour from downtown paris by subway, but the area seemed to be a decent area.

Pros: The hotel had character and the staff were helpfull.the hotel was pretty clean although carpets were tatty.
Cons: The external bathrooms were pretty awful,like tiny cubicals and shower was a box...and only one toilet and shower per floor!

Pros: The experience was very positive. the staff were extremely helpful and accomodating to whatever we needed. the location of the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood but easily accessible to the metro. the rooms were not high class, but served the purpose. thanks for a great stay.
