Nice hotel with pleasant staf ,great location ,we have triple room on the top floor , enough space in room ,bathroom was nice to, but very small sink!! Every day we have clean towels.Great idea is that each floor has nescafe with milk and sugar and in room u have water heaters.Breakfast was good .We had a wonderful experience with Freeland hotel I recommend to everyone !!

Perfect location, spacious room and the bathroom ,very nice view.. not much satisfied of the cleanliness and the breakfast .. but I will definately choose it to stay again .. The service was excellent !!!

Located well for any part of tourist attractions. Friendly staff, nice breakfast. Room was clean, though tiled walls not very nice! Very warm though, good shower. Was noisy at night .. Banging doors, inconsiderate guests and noisy floors all made for a disrupted night. Would still reccomend though at this very competetive price.

I stayed for 5 nights. Received a quiet room as I asked for – the most important thing for me. The stay was O.K. ,the room had all the amenities I read about. I knew what to expect. I didn't have much contact with the staff – you take the key with you. In my opinion the price is high but I did a survey of 2 and 3 stars accommodation in the center of Amsterdam – and this place is not outstanding.There is a fan in the room and a radiator heating system. - The room was small – it had a corridor which was unused place. I would be happy to have a higher table – not a coffee one as is was difficult to write or use the computer. Better lightThe breakfast was exactly the same every single day. Not even a change of the kind of cheese or sausage .Don't forget to bring your toiletry – you get soap and shampoo – but not enough. If you use a hairdryer – bring yours

Cons: There was no wardrobe facility which meant i had nowhere to hang my clothes for the 4 days i was there. when i went for breakfast there was noone about to take my order or to show me were things were so i left the breakfast area after 5 minutes and didn't return for breakfast again during my whole stay. this was a shame as if there had been someone there i'd have given te facilities a much higher rating.

Pros: For a cheap place this is really good. very clean, sizable room (room 5). we asked for a double room and got one with a double and a spare single which had a balcony and overlooked the street. the ensuite was a good size and even had a sink and mirror each. it is well connected with the 1,2 and 5 trams going to and from central station. if i remember rightly these also go to dam square and the museum district and are very frequent. opposite the hotel are 2 cool bars, and round the corner is leidseplein, which has a very good selection of cheap to midrange restaurants, some bars and some coffeeshops. the staff were really friendly and helpful. breakfast was simple but good, and they had different types of tea available in the corridor which you could have back in your room (kettle in room).
Cons: When we were there, the city were resurfacing the pavement outside the hotel which was loud in the day, however this will proably be over in a couple of weeks. if you're out in the city during the day it doesn't matter.
