Went to Amsterdam as part of our Honeymoon and wanted a cost effective and central location. Generally good place, although the double beds were a bit small (maybe better to have twin room and push the beds together), as was the room, but we only needed it to sleep and so this was not an issues. The stairs were very steep, and we unfortunately had the top 4 so had to climb 4 sets of these each time (good fitness work, but difficult with footing).Great wet room/shower and the hosts are Friendly and helpful.

we stayed at this hotel for one night location was great and the staff were very friendly and offered a map of area and all information we may need. we had a room with canal view which was lovely and the breakfast was good. would stay there again on future visits.

Amsterdam is wonderfull and the aparthotel numbber 10 is very useful, behind Dam Square in the center of the city. The only problem are the stairs, impossibile with baggage. Another problem is the noise of the streets and the quality of sleep isn't good.

Within a 10 minute walk of the central station and a minute from the nearest bar (importantly!) this hotel offers comfort and convenience at a very reasonable price...The staff were friendly and will to help with directions, recommendations and any general assistance. Breakfast is your continental standard (toast, cheese/meats, boiled eggs,cereal, tea/coffee/juice) .The building is tall - with narrow and steep stairs so not recommended for anyone who would find this a problem.Rooms are "snug"! Well ours was. 2 single beds, and a shower/wet-room/WC. We used it to sleep in and change so suited our needs but not idealif you plan to spend any significant time in there. The overall standard of the hotel was very clean and I couldn't fault it here.I would question the "check-in" times advertised. We arrived at about 09:00 (check-in states 08:00-22:00) - and could leave our bags but the room was not going to be ready until approx 13:00 - so be aware of this is you do want to arrive and freshen up straight away - perhaps pre-warn them of your arrival time so they can make arrangements to suit.

We stayed just a night in this hotel - we arrived very late in the evening and we received a warm welcome by the receptionist of this hotel (he was waiting for us).Hotel really pretty, close to the center. Nice room, at the top floor and with the view of the canals.Clean - nice service - good breakfast.Good compromise in terms of price/service in a city where every accomodation seems a bit overpriced in relation of the service provided.Two additional note: very small bathroom (but very clean and functional) - a lot of stairs to the room (not exactly the best if you have problem with it).Free wi-fi at the reception.

Great stay for a long weekend and perfect location. The only minor problem was just a slightly small room and bathroom - though the bathroom had recently been refitted and was brilliant.

Location perfect. Close to everything - restaurants, museums & shops. Beautiful area right on the canal. The staff were fantastic - friendly & helpful. We checked in late due to transport & phoned to let them know, but the guy on duty was great.Our room was a bit pokey, but clean & the beds very comfortable.Plenty of food for breakfast. Would certainly stay there again.

Location is excellent. Clean. A bit expensive, but at this level in Amsterdam, it's a reasonable price.Too bad they do not have rooms for smokers too. There are lots of steep stairs. For a short solo tour, this place decent.

we staied at top floor and the steep stairs was an excellent gymnastic excercise. We were repaymented by the wonderful view of the channel. Another typical aspect of dutch life is the small rooms, and we had a bed-room like in an autocaravan (not for ever, but for an holiday is very funny). We appreciated the silence. Personal very kind. Breakfast simply but for us completely enough. strategic place to visit the city (we didn't take bus or taxi we went only by walking).

The hotel has an excellent location and very friendly staff. They were very helpful. The room was ok and clean, only the bathroom was a little too small and a bit smelly. Breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a nice short stay in Amsterdam. I would stay there again.

Cons: You could find rooms quite small when you're staying for longer time.
