Pros: Staff were polite and it was peaceful and quiet.
Cons: My main issue was that this was not a 5-star hotel by any standard. the hotel was decent and clean and hotel staff were pleasant, but i was expecting a 5 star hotel and this was a good 3 star at best. aside from the fact that the hotel had no facilities like swimming pools, spa, fitness suite, a selection of bars or restaurants, or indeed anything habitually found in 5-star and good 4-star hotels, nothing about the hotel gave the impresion of luxury. everything was decent but cheap - from carpets and curtains, through fixture and fittings to the toilet paper - they were cheap. i was also given the impression that the hotel location was practically on museumplein, which it was not. it is a mile away from museumplein, if not more. all in all, there is nothing wrong with the hotel but it is not what it claims to be and this was very disappointing.

Cons: Didn't seem to be 5 star standard. very clean but rooms out dated. would not like to pay full price as a 5 star hotel but was good value as we got the rooms cheap

Pros: This was a lovely hotel - the staff were fantastic as they were friendly helpful and informative, the rooms were clean and the hotel location was in a leafy quite area but still close to public transport and many amenities.
Cons: I do not think the hotel is of irish 5 * rating - more like a 4 *. we were upgraded to facilitate us having ajdoining twin rooms, which was very nice of the hotel. the standard rooms are definitely rather small to qualify as 5 *

Pros: Bad idea to set false previous prices e.g secret 5 star hotel previous 2000 usd now 600. it turned out that we could have booked the hotel we were assigned for 550 usd. however easytobook were fair to compensate by upgrading our room - okay but personally i think they could have done better...
Cons: Nice staff. but the amenities and the general impression of the hotel was more of a really good three stared hotel or mid four star. not close to other 5 stared hotels i have stayed on.

Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful, they were at our beck and call all hours of the day which made our stay all the better.

Cons: The quality of so called "de-luxe" room was extremely poor (especially for 5-star hotel), so we had to upgrade for executive room (subject to extra charge) to ensure suitable conditions.
