exlellent location, spacious rooms, not so friendly staff and not dutchspeaking (wel vreemd voor nederland) very bad akoustic isolation so noisy rooms (lawaaierige kamers door slechte akoestische isolatie)

 "I enjoyed my stay"
Me an my partner have stayed at this hotel twice now an we really enjoyed it and would defiantly come back and I wud recommend it to anyone ! It's a great location and the staff are so nice and really helpfull

Perfekt location, good service, a bit pur design, and cleaning not really spotless, overall would stay again. Bare that in mind that you will be asked for a per-authorisation upon arrival. This is not mentioned anywhere when booking.

 "New year in Amsterdam"
Arrived from airport with no problemms, straight on to train to the city and with the detailed instructions sent to us, via the website we arrived saftley. Fanstastic location in easy walking distance to all parts of the city.On arriving at hotel we were told that we had booked two rooms, this was an error on our part, the hotel were amazing and did everything in there power to help us sort this out, as it was new years eve and they coud have sold the other room 10 times over we doubted that they could to anything, But to our utter suprise and utter relief they refunded the whole amount for the second room booked, Amazing!!!So so impressed by receptionist and manager, made our new years... Clean and tidy and well staffed hotel, will definately go back ...Fabulous atmoshere on new years eve, very very noisy, but brilliant, so many people and no sign of trouble, very refreshing. Took the bus tour, bit of a rip off, as took you to the diamand factory on the way round, which takes all the time up.Also if you want to go to the Ice bar and the Ann Francs museum, book!!! the que to Ann Francs goes on for ever, at least an hour and a half waitung outside,But well worth the wait.

great hotel very frendly and central location near dam square etc. rooms great staff friendly great view right beside one of the canals my first time in the dam boyfriend been a few times and he would recommend this hotel to others

 "Amsterdam trip"
Was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms where clean and spacious and they were very friendly at reception. The hotel was only a 5min walk from all the bars and cafes. This was our second year at this hotel and will be choosing this hotel next year

Terrible hotel, overpriced, lousy service and out to fleece customer, I will never stay there and would not recommend to ever stay there.

 "Didnt like it!!"
bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable, but was work up copnstantly by slamming of doors in the hall, you could hear every noise outside, lucky enough we saw a fan sitting in the hall and lifted it as there was no air con and the rooms were unberably hot and the opens opened too wide on the ground floor to leave them open at night!! the rooms werent the cleanest, there was dirty marks on the walls etc. the staff were freindly but after paying over £400 up front with my credit card hey still wanted a deporst of 50 euro and because of city tax we only got 25 of it back i was really not happy with this as we were rellying on the money for the airport which basically left us with nothing!!! i will defo not be back to stay in a hotel in amsterdam and will be going back to the guest hotel we stayed in the first time, really disappointed!!

 "Great location on the canal"
The room was very large. It was quite hot due to unseasonably hot weather and no air conditioning, but the desk provided a fan and we had three large windows that opened onto the canal. Bathrooms also large with a tub. Somewhat difficult getting to our room to as the elevator took us to our floor but we had to go down two flights or stairs -- so those with mobility concerns should take note.

 "The hotel is value for money"
The website pictures do no show the reality of the rooms. The rooms are not well furnished, hot and cold water valves are not easy to control. The rooms are either very small or very big with old furniture. The breakfast is very ordinary, easily you can find missing items every day. The receptionists are friendly and the location of the hotel is superior.
