We were moved to an underground apartment up the street (apparently an upgrade!) which i can only describe as a noisely smelly dump!! There was no window or light getting through & the owner left all his crap in the presses & bathroom, plus we couldnt cook with the smell of (human waste!) in the kitchen!! Run for the hills!!!!!!!!

We stayed in the attic room. Except from the stairs which were quite dangerous if you didnt have clear head, the room (actually it was like our own private home) was large, bright and romantic. the attic with the bed was amazing. the bathroom was outside the room but that wasnt a big problem it was just as it was in. just a step away. the location was really great (though we got a little bit lost the first time but Paul came and pick us up) and all the sights were easily accesible with the trams. Cleanliness was the most important thing for us and this lovely little place takes 5.5!!!!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and the location was amazing, the apartment was gorgeous, very clean and so quaint. Can't rate this place highly enough and will definitely be back!!

We would not call it a guest house or hotel. We were sent to an apartment on Herengracht. The room was clean. No service - ie. bed was not made up or tea tray topped up. If there is no one in the shop then you have a phone number to contact them. Otherwise you are on your own. 220 euros for two nights with no breakfast was a bit pricey. It wasn't how it appeared on the web site when we chose it. Bed was comfy. People upstairs we think lived there as they made lots of noise all the time! We wouldn't stay there again but we wouldn't tell anyone to avoid it.

The hotel room is ideal for travellers who prefer nearness of the City center but silence at nights. Nice clean room made the stay very cozy and homely. Perfect place for couples.

This is in an excellent location and we enjoyed our stay here very much. We were grateful for the room on the ground floor as our luggage was very heavy.

They have many different flats around town. Some a perhaps good, while others are a bit worse. The place we stayed in had great location, good bed and was warm. There was no soap, WC was running all night, lots of noise from other guest and the refrigiator was a very noise wine cooler.

Pros: We found the room itself clean, good enough location for a first visit to amsterdam and the staff very helpful when we picked the keys up.
Cons: Although we knew there was a possiblity of not staying where it was shown as located, it was a pain to have to phone when we arrived (and we had emailed to let them know a time) to have to phone and wait for someone to come to obtain keys.

Pros: Well situated room away from the guest house in another part of the town nearer central, fridge, tea and coffee and awesome shower. friendly helpful staff. all good
Cons: Lemon in the kettle and faulty toilet and that's all sorted now so amazingly minor issues there!
