Pros: Nice "apartment" set-up - ideal if you are staying in barcelona a week or more. nice location just up the street from sagrada familia.
Cons: We only stayed one night, so would have liked more "hotel" amenities such as toiletries (there was no shampoo, soap, etc. in the room), wireless internet, etc. while the attendant did answer our questions, it would have been nice to have more of a concierge to provide us tourist information, directions, etc.
they did not honor the 5% trip advisor discount i was supposed to get. never responded to my emails either.

"The apartments have plenty of room and are modernly furnished"

Pros: The apartments have plenty of room and are modernly furnished. the location is very conveniently close to the metro and restaurants. sagrada familia is very close. staff is very helpfull.there is no noise from adjoining rooms. there is a pleasant balcony.
Cons: The air is very dry (as a lot of hotels), mostly noticable at night as one has to close the window because of the busy street. the kitchen has all the equipment (oven, microwave and 2 cookeryplate), but not a lot of utensils to cook.

Cons: The apparment was advertised for 3 people but in fact had a double bed and 2 singles. the double appartment had sleeping facilities for 3. we could have easily rented 2 instead of 3 apparments and saved some money.
