"Overall a nice hotel"

While everthing looks modern at first sight, you can tell furniture etc. are not the best quality. The hotel and rooms were clean. The service was ok, with some of the staff sometimes being a little short and annoyed - probably due to stress (the hotel was pretty busy during our stay). However, some of the staff was also very curteous and polite. The hotel is about a 10 min. walk from the next metro station, but from there it only takes about 15 min. to get to the city center. There isn't much to do in the area, other than the big mall right by the metro station El Maresme Fòrum.Overall a nice hotel. Good value for the price we paid, but not quiet 4 stars. Probably would not stay there again, because we would like to be somewhere a little closer to the center.

"Good hotel, but not so good location"

Swimming pool only outdoors! One reaseon we have booked hotel was the swimming pool availability (on the ad and hotel's infopage swimming pool and outdoor swimming pool was mentioned separately so we thought it has both. Unfortunately it turned out that they have only outdoor pool and it was naturally closed due too eary spring. Which was disappointment as we packed swimwear to our already limited flight luggage.Little advice - if you do not want to pay 10 EUR/pp (for the child's breakfast for example) you can find much cheaper and still nice breakfast offer just around the corner.Pro-s: Clean, nice and modern rooms. Very comfortable beds and two good pillows per person! :) Almost all necessary services available. Little gym and hammam ok. Very good price offer. Free and moderately fast Wi-Fi.Con-s: Situation distant from the city, not much to do around in the evening, but then metro and hop-on hop off buses were not too far. Only outdoor swimming pool despite more promising ad. Choice of TV channels very limited and pay tv too expensive which again is another reason not to waste precious time for tv in this wonderful city. :)Overall verdict - very good deal for this price.

"3 day stay in Barcelona Tryp Condal Mar"

Arrived at hotel after about 30 minute drive from airport in Taxi. It is about 10 minutes from the centre by taxi (roughly 10 euros) The hotel was really nice inside and the rooms were clean and had a lovely design. One thing I really liked about the stay was that people didn't bug me. Cleaning staff left me alone and didn't make much noise and no one woke me asking me if I wanted my mini bar refilled. Slept really well and enjoyed my stay. Entrance smelled a bit of sewage on certain days but I am guessing they had some plumbing issues or it was coming in from the streets. Walking the wrong way from the hotel ends you up in a conflicted area but the hotel itself is in a nice business area. If you want to stay away from noisy Las Ramblas hotels but want to be close to town this is the place to go.

"Modern, nice hotel"

We enjoyed and available services during our stay. Only issue, which wasn't top quality was the location from the center of Barcelona. Too long to walk to Ramblas, for example. But, just perfect for the beach or shopping mall.

We had a very nice stay at Tryp Condal Mar with a very good breakfast, nice staff, refreshing swimming pool at the highest level.

"A lovely hotel just outside the city centre"

Pros: A lovely hotel just outside the city centre. rooms were excellent and staff were generally friendly and helpful. the location is in a slightly rundown industrial type area but we felt safe walking around even at night. in easy walking distance of the metro to get you into the centre or out to the airport
Cons: Would have been useful to have detailed directions from the metro to the hotel. if it wasn't for one very kind spanish lady who walked us there we could have been very lost for quite some time and taxis don't seem to frequent the area

Pros: Modern hotel with gym, lovely roof top pool and bar. rooms were clean and tidy with good facilities and the comfiest hotel beds i have ever slept on
Cons: The hotel is rather fram from the hustle and bustle of barcelona but has nearby tube stop and grat access to the beach all be it at the far end of the resort.
