"The facade, reception area and common areas are tastefully and recently..."

Pros: The facade, reception area and common areas are tastefully and recently done. the rooms were clean and functional but felt like the 70's painted over. it was quiet and rest full. the bed was pretty comfy.
Cons: The heating in our room did not work. i hadn't bought the 11 eur breakfast which i'm really pleased about as a browse of it was all that was needed to see it was not worth it.

Pros: Ultonia is going through some modernisation of the lobby but the work did not affect my enjoyment of the room. the room (double for single occupancy) was huge in comparison to barcelona standards and was very good value for money.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. provided an excellent dinner/restaurant recommendation, when we arrived very late at night.
Cons: The toilet/bathroom door-handle was broken, so the door did not close properly.
