 "Very Homey"
What a convenient location in Zurich without being right on a busy, noisy city square! It's a very friendly, very accommodating hotel among small, European class of hotels. I also felt relatively comfortable but most importantly felt safe in the surroundings. More on tripadvisor.com.

Cons: Details for finding the hotel from the railway station on foot would have beeen useful instead of an expensiive taxi fare when we first arrived.

Pros: Perfect overnight stop for travellers - so close to the station, peaceful setting etc near the river, we went for a walk by the river before setting off again by train - excellent.

Cons: Room was small and overpriced even for switzerland, and it was quite the walk to any points of interest. staff was not very friendly and the (free included) breakfast was only rolls, juice, and coffee.

Pros: Hotel arlette was a very satisfactory experience, and very affordable (for zurich). the room was small but well-furnished, and well taken care of. breakfast was satisfactory and served over a good range of times. internet service was good. an excellent choice for a business traveller on a budget.
Cons: The night opening service was slow -- upon returning to the hotel at 2 am, i had to wait a few minutes to gain entry to the hotel. no other complaints.
