 "This is just the one I was looking for."
This hotel is juist what I was looking for: an affordable price offered us a good and clean place to sleep, a good English breakfast to start the day, WiFi that really worked well and a water cooker to make oneselve a cup of tea or coffee, an own small but big enough bathroom with toilet and last but not least very helpful and friendly staff.This hotel is located near the underground and railway station Paddington, close to Hydepark, in a district with small shops and plenty of restaurants.

 "Very Nice Hotel"
We booked four nights at the Castleton Hotel and were pleasantly surprised. It is a short walk away from Paddington Station and is close to all major bus routes. Breakfast was good, staff helpful and location peaceful. Bedroom was small and bathroom tiny but we came to London on a shopping trip so only utilised the room to sleep in. We will definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

Small intrest from the staff/owners to us as guests. They seem to use a lot of aircleaner to get rid of the smell from carpets. Crowded dining and rooms but ok for just to sleep and have a fast breakfast. Blockage in the sink but despite remark no action

 "Overview of a recent stay at the Castleton Hotel"
The rooms were basic but clean and well prepared, towels were replaced each day. The cleanliness cannot be faulted. The breakfast was very good, well cooked.Unfortunately the lift was out of order and the climb to the third floor for someone with a bad back was not good. My three nights there was as much as I could tolerate.The gentleman at reception for the first two days was exceptionally helpful.

Stayed here i Sept 2012, room was very small, bathroom even smaller with a poor supply of towels and coathangers Breakfast a was goo d and staff were excellent

Cons: Just having the a/c units outside the window which were a bit noisey, but bearable.

Pros: Staff were very friendly - room clean and tidy all be it on the small side (twin room). excellent location......next to paddington. would like to thank the cook/chef for ensuring that the cooked breakfast was actually cooked and warm. my 18 year old son even commented that the scrambled egg was delicious and he would not normally eat hotel breakfasts.

Cons: The room was very small and the on-suite was tiny. i do not think a large person would be able to cope with it.

Pros: We had 4 wonderful days in our hotel. the hotel was very clean and well kept. we met only friendly staff, and the breakfast we had was good. we can only recommend the hotel, if you're looking for a hotel, if you need to have a good base for visiting london.

Cons: We had a room, next to an alley, where there was some air compressors. the hotel might consider, to sound proof them.

Pros: Location is fantastic not far from paddington st. staff was friendly and free wifi and the opputunitie of lending a transformer with out charge was a big plus.
Cons: Somebody maybe see it as a plus, but my towel was changed every day althoug i didn't put it on the floor, this is very bad for the enviroment. the room where also very small.

Cons: The rooms do need double glazing to help muffle the noise from the street outside.

Cons: The car park is situated under trees and there was a constant fall of sap and small debris whcih took a while to clean off.
