"Good choice"

Very well located we could walk to important places . The service was perfect, willing to help. The sizes of room and bathroom are large .I would come back to the same hotel without hesitation and recommend it to my friends.

"Park Plaza Riverbank"

Excellent hotel. Superior room was lovely; spacious, clean & well planned, as was bathroom with bath /separate shower. Staff were pleasant & helpful. Some food shops and restaurants a short walk away.

"Honeymoon Stay"

It was wonderful to stay at a hotel that was so conveniently located. Staff here was very helpful and we had a great stay. A 10 minute walk to the Vauxhall station or Westminster station and you are on your way for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

"Average"

The rooms are very average and not value for money. There was no ironing board/iron in the room although stated in the hotel details. The kettle didn't work but this was quickly rectified, no sugar in the condiments dish. Mould in the shower.Having said that all the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and give a very professional service the porters, reception staff and doorman. Think the housekeeping needs attention.If you want view make sure you ask for a a river view room, otherwise you will be overlooking another building.

"walking to the tube was 10 /15 minutes away to far"

The hotel look nice, our twin room was average with the price we paid for 3 nights for£400 should be nicer.The view was in front of a empty building :(!!! they should check the inside of the kettle in the rooms. I boiled water from the kettle,when cool down drank 2 glass at night, got up in the morning still had some water in glass which contain the debris from inside the kettle:( It took me 10 minutes to turn the TV on as the sensor was built on the side of TV.so had to move to the right side every time i turn the channel,was not comfortable doing that !! staffs was polite at the reception and bell boy was helpful! The hotel have a Restaurant and Bar which was convenient but expensive with 12% service charge in Restaurant and Bar ! Food in the Restaurant was nice.The Tube station was 15 minutes away,was bad walking to the Hotel in the rain with luggage :( .......

"Not what I expected"

I'm sure every hotel has its good and bad days and we hit this one on a bad day. The sheets were dirty and there was a tear in the duvet, the room looked good everything worked fine. We didn't fine the front desk staff very helpful when we told them about the room.

"Over expections"

It was especially for those who want to relax and enjoy :) no riverview room, but still could see the river thames from the room otherside of the hotel. Stuff friendly, clean, good beds etc. Nothing to complain. :)

"Lovely hotel for sound sleepers!"

This hotel is very nicely styled. Staff are warm and friendly. There is a nice atmosphere and nothing is to much trouble. ice machines in the corridors to rooms so you can help yourself to as much a you like.Its a short and pleasant, walk to Westminster Houses of Parliament and just a short way from the tube..I had a snack in the bar nicely done but a little snack in the bar where there was a nice atmosphere, a little pricey but nicely presented and served very quickly. The only low point for me was the trains that run past my window , fortunately I sleep well and it didn't keep me awake but not one for light sleepers really.

"Noise"

tFar too expensive in the bar an resturant. Two nights were great but on the third night I had to get security /staff to investiagte the noise, shouting and a girl hanging out the window until at least 5am, definately some thing going on. Maybe a one off but with the attitude I received from the Hotel it was a waste of time reporting it.

"Grand hotel"

Very nice hotel with very helpful, pleasant staff. Stayed in superior double room so was nice to have a separate lounge area. Drinks/food in the hotel very expensive! Nice little pub just up the road was much more affordable and served great food.

We couldnt sleep due to the noise from trains etc going past. The bathroom in the hotel wasnt very clean. Limited tv channels and small tv. When checking in the hotel didnt have any double rooms left so gave us an upgraded twin room which wasnt different to the super room. Door card didnt work when we tried to access the room.Wifi access was good

"fabulous, would love to go again soon!"

This hotel deserves 11/10 for everything!! I was on a little trip to see an art exhibition at the Tate Britain so I wanted to be in a hotel within walking distance and I booked my stay at this hotel on the internet for 10 -12th October.On arrival I was offered a "river view" upgrade - well worth it(£30 per night) - WOW! an absolutely stunning view across the river towards Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament! I ordered dinner via Room service - cheaper than you could eat out anywhere in any other city! Very surprising indeed. The staff were extremely professional and efficient - an all over excellent experience - top marks everyone at the Riverbank Plaza!!! P.S the room number was 641 - a suite really, as opposed to a normal hotel room!!

"Great location, but tired and worn"

Stayed in this hotel before and chose it again because of its location. The intervening time has not been kind. The rooms are worn and borderline shabby. The carpet was dirty and worn. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was archaic - no signal at all unless one stood right at the door. Had to manually login every time to use it. The television had to re-boot every time it was turned on. Breakfast was overpriced and barely edible. Maid service was slow - on one occasion my room was only cleaned in the late afternoon when I returned and needed to rest before dinner. Definitely won't be a repeat visitor again.

Pros: Veryclean hotel, exceptionally smart staff and was well met on our arrival.
Cons: Stayed additional night that was booked direct with hotel on phone. guarenteed river views by booking direct but never got it so dissapointed with this especially as i cancelled cheaper hotel nearby for 2nd night.
