The fully enclosed park is a massive 1,760 acres in size, with a perimeter distance of seven miles. Inside the park are beautiful landscaped areas, playgrounds, open areas for games and relaxing and also ornamental gardens, nature trails and polo and soccer fields.
Visitors to Phoenix Park can expect to see livestock grazing in the park as well as wild animals such as rabbits, squirrels and deer. Originally dating back to 12th century, Phoenix Park had been a hunting park for many centuries before being opened to the public in 1745.
