"4days in a good located hotel"

+ great location+ fast checkin/checkout+ clean room- cocktails in lounge to expensive- cocktail-bar with slow servicefor a short trip the right hotel. location near "centraal station". public transport and the whole center could be reached in a few minutes walking. would come back again!

"Short break to Amsterdam"

This hotel is fantastic for its location. It is directly opposite Centraal Station do you can literally start your break 5 minutes after arriving by train. It is also waking distance from pretty much everything

"Amsterdam visit"

Our first visit to Amsterdam and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel was ideally situated across from the railway station, with many fantastic eating places, pubs and places of interest all within walking distance. The hotel was clean, decoratively pleasing to the eye, and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant throughout our stay. The lounge bar was a spacious, friendly and relaxing area where we enjoyed a drink and meeting other residents.The room was spacious, clean and decor was lovely. It maybe suggested that more wardrobe space could be offered as for two people, this space was limited. Also it maybe suggested that quality pillows be provided, although the pillows were comfortable, better quality pillows would have enhanced the quality of my sleep. On the whole, a lovely hotel offering good quality customer service. I would certainly use this hotel again on my next trip to Amsterdam.

"Great location but Poor rooms"

The park plaza Victoria Amsterdam was a one night stopover for us, The hotels was in a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful.However the rooms were very dated and tired and in need of a full refurbishmentThe cost of £160 GBP for one nights stay without breakfast was extreme and i would not be willing to stay there again at this price for the quality of room received

"Impressing hotel but disappointing breakfast"

The hotel is located near Amsterdam central station. Good starting point for city tours.The room was ok but breakfast was disappointing.The first morning there was some construction work in the building which was really noisy.Would not recommend the hotel to breakfast lovers but all others should be pleased.

"Tidy hotel in a perfect location"

Lovely place with nice helpful members of staff. Cracking location with everything near by. One quarm is there is a €75 deposit requests when checkin in that was not made aware so take extra euros or a credit card!

"The speed of your WiFi sucks!"

OK, I know it is free but it does not work properly.I measured the speed 4 times during my visit with TPTEST, which is the official software used and recommended by the Swedish Telephone and Radio Authority. The measurements were carried out both at my room and in the lobby with the following results:2013-01-28; 21:03:15 --> 251 kbit/s (room 252)2013-01-28; 22:19:34 --> 248 kbit/s (room 252)2013-01-28; 22:36:09 --> 264 kbit/s (lobby)2013-01-28; 23:07:46 --> 236 kbit/s (room 252)I did disconnect and reconnect between the measurements. These speeds are comparable to a an old cell phone connection. A normal WiFi connection should be at least 2000 kbit/s and at most hotels today you have > 10000 kbit/s.Well, why did I took the time to write this to you: I often live at Victoria because I really like the hotel… However, I don't care if the WiFi is free or not. It would be much better if you charge 10-20 € and offered a modern fully working WiFi instead.

"short stay"

We arrived late and my hubby wasn't well. The staff were very attentive and we were glad our room was very comfortable. Great breakfast with a huge variety. Great location near the main train station and canal cruises. Lots of restaurants and shops also close by.

"NO good Management at all"

The worst hotel management in our lives. We prepaid for five nights but we had to check out on the third day early in the morning because we didnt sleep at all for two nights.Two nights no sleep and we end up with a flu. Radiator in the room was so noisy that couldnt sleep. We ask the management to receive back the three nights (refund) and they offer us one night free with breakfast in our next visit in amsterdam. '' The answer was no refund ''. - Until they change the attidute of the hotel management try somewhere else.... you can find 5 star hotels with the price you are paying and its just close....

RRoom was comfortable and clean we stayed in a superior room which could be doing with being updated some staff helpful some not so helpful breakfast wasn't very warm i would stay at this hotel again only if the price was cheaper definitely not value for money stayed in better 3star hotels at half the price

"No issue"

It was our wedding anniversary and the receptionist offers us to upgrade the room. (very kind)We were very happy until she also mentioned that the swimming pool and the sauna were closed for renovation.We have chosen this Hotel mainly because we love to swim during our stay. This renovation should be indicated in the website to be very fair.The breakfast was very good except the scrambled eggs but the quality and freshness of the other products (cheese of course but also the salmon) compensated this fact. The concierges were very polite, helpful and have good address for restaurant.We received the small suites and although the salon was on the street, it was quiet enough.I have been in a lot of 4 stars and all the times the cleaning ladies tidy up my pajamas on the bed. This is the first time I found it under my pillow thrown like that.I thought also receive a bathrobe and slippers, especially in a suite but this was not the case ... A bit disappointing especially since I had nothing preparedFinally a bottle of water was giving every day. I loved that attention

Very good hotel on a zentral lokation in Amsterdam downtown. Very friendly Personal and big clean quiet rooms with a nice bathroom. In 5' Minutes walkingdistance you are at the central railwaystation as at the Shopping mile as well.

"A great hotel to stay at!"

This is a wonderful hotel nestled close to Amsterdam Centraal train station. It is within 200 meters of the station - very easy to walk to. Very clean, and the staff was terrific. I only stayed one night as I had an over-night lay over in Amsterdam. It is a tad on the pricey side for university students or young people (such as myself) but for professionals who are working, this is an A+ establishment :) I will be back!

"Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam"

Park Plaza is really a fantastic hotel. Rooms were cleaned daily, reception was speedy and helpful at all times. Park Plaza is situated directly opposite the train station and within walking distance to all attractions. Would most definitely stay there again.
