 "L'Antic Espai, Barcelona"
This hotel is well worth a visit. Location very central, it is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, breakfast is great, but main thing is the fantastic service from (on our visit) Sergio, Carla and Mohammad. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back.

The Hotel is very much as previous comments. It is well located, less than 10 minutes walk from the airport shuttle bus. There is also a small taxi rank on the corner if you wish to take a taxi somewhere. The hotel recommended a Tapas restaurant just around the corner and it was very good. The hotel is an apartment on the second floor (no lift) but they will carry your luggage upstairs. It has lots of ornaments and antiques - very impressive. Some people may find it a bit small expecting large spacious rooms. I would not recommend for children, especially if they are as clumsy as mine! Overall I would stay there again and would recommend to friends - even good ones.

this hotel is really a perfect choice for visiting Barcelona: the staff is extremely Kind and helpuful, the location is really in the heart of the city and near metro station, the look and feel of the hotel is unique: it seems to jump back a couple of centuries and being hosted by a wealthy and charming spanish guest.

Important information & conditions:

From 1st November 2012 a tourist tax of EUR 0.75 per person (from the age of 16) per night applies, with a maximum of 7 nights' charge per person.

- The hotel will charge the first night of your reservation at the time of booking. The hotel will charge the whole stay upon arrival. If your reservation is for 3 nights or longer, the hotel will charge 50% of the stay if not cancelled during the cancellation period. In case of no show, the whole stay will be charged.

- Minimum stay of two nights for the weekend is required. If the reservation is for the whole weekend and you stay only one night, you will be charged for both nights. The reservation can be cancelled without a penalty if you advise the hotel 72 hours before arrival.

- ATTENTION! Once at the hotel, if you decide to leave before the booked date for any reason, you need to inform the hostel at least 48 hours in advance before your new departure date, otherwise the hostel will charge the whole stay. In case of no-cancellation or no-show, the hostel will charge the whole stay.
