"A Weekend stay at the Brentwood Guest House, York."

A very homely hotel with a helpful & friendly staff, situated in a quiet road. It was a little more distant from the city centre than I had anticipated and so I had to take taxis to & from it, rather than walking.The accomodation had all the necessary amenities and the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom was however, a touch on the small side but as I was there for just a short stay and did not have a lot of luggage, this was not particularly inconvenient. The breakfast was excellent & Natalie was a super hostess who seemed to go out of her way to look after her guests. All in all, I thought the guest house was excellent value for money.

Cons: The ground floor room was very well appointed, but was at the back of the house with no view, (obscure glass) the window opening on to a laundry area adjacent to the kitchen.

Brentwood is a lovely Family Guest House which offers accommodation at affordable prices in Bootham, just a short walk from York city centre, North Yorkshire, England. Close to the train station, Brentwood Guest House is the ideal base for backpackers and tourists who wish to visit all York tourist attractions like City's Walls, York Minster and Clifford's Tower.
