 "Long weekend with family."
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. My only gripe would be the bathroom; it was quite small and old fashioned and the toilet could've done with some bleach!

 "Beautifully located but needs some TLC"
The location of this hotel is excellent; within easy walking distance of the centre of York. However, the rooms are small and frankly tired. The bathroom in the room we had was freezing. Parking is shared with the busy sports club opposite and we found we often struggled to find a place. The sports club itself is an asset, but very crowded. We had to wait 45 minutes for space in the sauna!
